5th Annual Walk to Remember

The 5th Annual Walk to Remember is on September 24, 2011 at 10:00 am at Freeman Park. We will have a program, walk, balloon release and refreshments. During the program, family and friends will be invited to share a poem, thought, song, prayer or memory of their special baby. Please come and honor these precious babies that left our lives too quickly!

  1. it is ironic to me how many people find that a sort of celebration of remembering our little angels that we learn to love from even the very first heart beat. The very first positive test.... (My husband and I took five just to be sure the second time we where blessed with a baby. I do not know the sex of our first baby, We named Jordan. I know that the tiny little angel is in heaven growing and happy that we where blessed enough to be his parents. we may not have ever been able to hold Jordan but we still hold the memory in our hearts..) any way.. that people find it rude or ignorant.. even morbid. I feel that our tiny angels are worth a celebration each year... to know while they look down from heaven apon us that we still love them and that they are not forgotten, no matter how long nor short their tiny lives where. Please do not be a shamed to show face at such a blessed opportunity. I know that as parents we need to hold our heads high and be proud of our Babies that have gone to live in a safer place. I know that our little Jordan is being taken care of and is loved.

  2. I just found your blog. I look forward to participating this year. I have had 3 pregnancy losses. A stillborn baby boy, an early miscarriage, and another baby boy, lost at 17 weeks, just 2 months ago. I will watch for a post in September!
